In-Service Training work (INSET) is available on any of the areas offered as lectures. The format can vary but the preferred and most effective method is to deliver the lecture to the children with the teachers in attendance and then after the children have gone, to firm up the on the underlying science and discuss ways in which the lecture can be built upon in class.

In addition to these INSETs, a further session can be offered on the understanding and handling of dyslexia. It focuses on ways in which minor adaptations to regular teaching methods can include children with dyslexia related difficulties rather than always having to make special provision. These adaptations significantly enhance the learning and recall of all the children in class. This INSET was originally given at the European Conference for International Schools (ECIS) in Nice in 1996.
